it looks like they had hamburgers for their wedding meal...? and by first kiss, was it the FIRST kiss? are they an example of a courting couple? lovely photos!
Actually, we had barbequed chicken on buns, and it was so good! And yes, it was their very first kiss.

I think I might be persuaded to make your cake, Stephanie :). As long as it isn't too complicated a design, and I'm not also in charge of food for your reception. *winks knowingly to Ashley* So yes, you can pencil me in!
As a matter of fact, if it happens within the next 6 months, I have a check for $30 for you, that I'll include as part of my gift (before it expires); one of my tutoring students made out a check to Stephanie Garrison yesterday by mistake ;). We had a good laugh.
I loved the dresses too, Mrs. B! Lydia had good taste in color and pattern choice. We had such a headache of a time looking for ready-made gowns over Christmas break, that we gave in to making them. It was an easy pattern also, so it wasn't much of a problem. We ended up using the backside of the fabric, believe it or not. The front side was overly shiny and flashy, so we sewed them inside-out :).
I know what you mean about the anonymous comments, Susan. When I first started my blog I had it set on not allowing them but then a couple of people weren't signed up with blogger so I went ahead and switched it with the same stipulation that you set.

Nice pictures! I think those must be the prettiest bride's maid dresses I've ever seen. Your hair was lovely too.
